The Sweet Surrender.

I am flying through the clouds, among sparrows and pigeons, through the forests and over the mountains.  I was away from the cacophony of the city, amidst nature, and I was calm and peaceful. I could see vast stretches of greenery, from over the cloud where I am resting. I could see two rabbits flirting around in the grass fields, a deer by the side of the lake and a herd of buffaloes lazing under the shed of the trees.
Everything appeared small from the cloud, high up in the sky. Cool breeze blowing on my face and ruffling my hair. I reposed over the cloud and watched the birds play around me.
I slowly opened my eyes. My vision was blurred. I could still hear the distant chirping of the birds. Probably, I might have fallen asleep while lying on the cloud. I rubbed my eyes. When I regained my vision, I found myself in my room. It was a dream. It was five in the evening. I had been sleeping for over an hour- after I had returned from my office where I am interning. I felt peaceful. It felt serene, without the burden of exams, without a thousand page book inflicting pain to the shoulders and straining the eyes. The sense of tranquillity was simply amazing.
I came to the veranda, to assimilate the scenic beauty outside. It had rained. The ground was wet, and I could see rain drops dripping from the leaves of the trees. I clouds had begun clearing and I could see the gleaming sun, coming out with a serene smile. Indeed, my campus was a very beautiful place.
Green hills overlooking lush green football field, with tall trees alongside the lake, densely populated with uproarious birds. The sweet smell of the wet soil added the gem to the already wonderful atmosphere. The cool breeze and the rustling leafs add harmonious music to the awe-inspiring atmosphere. I could spend my life, in this sweet surrender.
